The Role
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Helpdesk / service Engineer t to join a well established Microsoft Partner. We are looking for individuals who excel in delivering winning results and have the ability and enthusiasm to help grow the business. You will need to demonstrate your abilities as a forward thinking IT Technician, to enable timely resolution to Customers IT issues. You will have held an IT Engineering Role or Helpdesk role for a minimum of 2 years, possess excellent IT skills in Microsoft platforms and products and be proficient in the following.
- Active Directory (must have)
- Microsoft Exchange 2007 (2010 an advantage) (advantage)
- Symantec Backup Exec / Recovery (distinct advantage)
- Virtualisation (Advantage)
- Windows desktop deployments ( including windows 7) (must have)
- Sonicwall Firewalls or Similar (Must have)
- SQL Server (advantage)
This will be underpinned with a sound knowledge of networking infrastructure.
You will be qualified to at least MCP, MCDST, compTIA A+, Netwrk + . You will need to be flexible good work ethic, can do attitude. In addition you must have excellent Customer facing skills including written and oral, strong problem solver and be able to work well without supervision or as part of a team. Experience required for this role
You will have held an IT Engineering Role or Helpdesk role for a minimum of 2 years, possess excellent IT skills in Microsoft platforms and products and be proficient in the following.
Solid experience in Microsoft desktop and server solutions.
Ability to keep helpdesk status up to date, as part of a team.
Hardworking Can do attitude is essential.
